The Curriculum study pupils do at home is designed to work in tandem with the lessons they do at school. It supports and reinforces the work as it happens at school. It is not designed to break new ground. However, pupils can use these lessons to support learning at school, recapture forgotten principles and of course for reference and revision at important times. Qualified teachers present short clear lessons that follow the National Curriculum. Working at home eliminates peer pressure and allows pupils to work at their own pace. Concentration levels have been proven to increase dramatically and of course there are no outside distractions. Pupils gain a confidence and enthusiasm that enriches all curricular activities, thus making a school environment more fulfilling, enjoyable and ultimately the pupil more successful. The Tutorial Support Service monitors, evaluates and rewards the pupil's work. A Free Tutorial Support teacher helpline is available to both pupils and parents.
